WSET Level 1-3 Novice to Professional
About the course
Classroom taught sessions covers Level 2 and 3 material and includes tutored tastings of over 100 wines and spirits and a visit to a vineyard and winery. Students will also have access to an online classroom for the duration of the course and two weeks prior to commencement. Please note that it is essential for students enrolling on the course to have access to the internet as they will be expected to complete the online course content in preparation for the course.

What level of knowledge will I need to start this course?
This course is specifically designed for students with no prior knowledge of wine and spirits and who would like to study to an Advanced level. The course covers the basic knowledge required to enter the Level 3 Award course as well as covering all of the Level 3 content.
Study Option(s)
The course will be taught over two consecutive weeks (Monday – Friday). Each day will end with an examination technique workshop. Please read the terms & conditions before proceeding with a booking.

Exam
The WSET Level 3 Award examination comprises of two parts. Part one will be a combined theory paper consisting of a 50 question multiple-choice section and a five question short answer written section. Part two will be a blind tasting of two wines. A mark of 55% is required in all sections to pass, with the exam taking place in the last session of the two week course.
Scholarships
Each year UK students with the highest marks for the Level 3 Advanced Certificate are given the opportunity to win prizes including trips to vineyards both in Europe and around the world. Winners and graduates are also invited to attend the graduation at the Guildhall in London. Find out more…
